"pvalue":"集中している分野は美術史。しかし、美術コレクションをサポートするため、アジア美術館図書館では美術および考古学だけでなく、歴史、宗教、哲学、民俗学、民俗文化、人類学、文学、音楽、医学、科学の分野を含む研究資料を収蔵している。これらの資料の多くは非常に珍しい、ないしはほぼ一点きりのものである。図書・雑誌資料に加えて、図書館資料は文書類、個人ペーパー、写真コレクション、マイクロ資料、巻物、掛け軸、そして様々な形態の版本および写本を含む。
以下は、図書館の特別資料のうち、明治期以前の日本人および日本に関する資料である：
- 着物および織物のデザイン彩色画2点;
- 80点を超える、北斎、恵斉、英泉、豊国ほかの作品を含む、19世紀画家の画帖と絵本 (絵本および漫画) ;
- 安政改正御江戸大絵図 / 高井蘭山図. 江戸 : 岡田屋嘉七, 1859. 彩色木版絵図を掛け軸に貼り付けたもの;
- 18世紀後半絵入り辞書：「頭書増補訓蒙圖彙」. (1789);
- 裝劍竒賞 / 稻葉通龍 (1781). 7冊.: 刀剣、装飾具、印籠 および根附に関する書.
- 親鸞聖人御一生記繪抄 / 池田東籬. 1840-50頃. 3冊;
- 釈迦八相倭文庫 / Written by Mantei Oga & illustrated by Utagawa Kunisada. Edo : Joshudo Juzo, 1856 (1861 printing), 2 volumes;
- ペリーの日本への来航に関して1856年にアメリカ合衆国が刊行した公式報告書3冊セットの初版、ペリー提督の署名入り;
There are also a number of very notable and rare publications produced from the early Meiji into the Showa era in the collection."
